Urgent Move From Abusive Parents

I am raising money for a friend of mine. His name is Emmet Pack, he is 22 years old, and lives with his parents, who are very religious Christians. His parents are abusive physically and emotionally. His father violently punched him for attempting to come out as a homosexual and pressured him to admit that he was merely going through a phase and that he will grow out of it. His mother constantly berates him for supposedly not working hard enough when he actually does along with working on plays for a theatre team. He aspires to be an actor and artist and requested to use one of his artworks as a substitute for the photo of this campaign instead of his face for his safety and protection. He also suffers from chronic depression and has contemplated suicide due to his unloving parents and injuries such as a fragile ankle from an abusive ex- boyfriend.

I, along with a friend and Emmet's new boyfriend, live in the east coast of the United States while Emmet lives in the south western coast. We cannot afford what we have now to provide him support. We all have part-time jobs making less than a thousand a month and we all currently live with our parents, who won't accept Emmet living in any of our homes. We want to raise money so that we can move him out of his home, fly to us, and rent an apartment for all of us to live in. We want to reach our goal of $30,000, which will guarantee us a plane ticket for Emmet and a full-year worth of rent in a nice, safe, comfortable apartment until we can all get full-time jobs and afford the rent ourselves. We may also need the funds for new furniture.

If the winner chooses not to accept the reward, does not respond, or offers no way for us to contact the winner, then we will give the reward to the next best donor.
