My name is Chef Giovanni Merle and I was born on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. I’m a trained chef and I am working diligently to build my business with one goal in mind; bringing attention to the ongoing hostility and human rights abuses toward minorities & Rastafarians in Mauritius.

Welcome to the Kayaman Movement!
The goal of the Kayaman Movement is to uplift disenfranchised communities in Mauritius by:
(1) Ensuring minority youth have an opportunity to be mentored by Mauritians in the diaspora
(2) Educating the international community about the violence and intimidation used against the Rastafarian community in Mauritius
As an official launch to the movement, I will host a unity concert this November 2016 in Mauritius. The concert will bring Mauritian artists from all over the world to connect with youth and push the government to recognize Rastafarian as a religion and decriminalize
the use of cannabis.
As a token of my appreciation for supporting the movement, supporters will receive the following for donations for $500, $100, and $50 or greater:
$500 - One virtual cooking lesson
$100 - Three month meal planning package
$50 - One virtual holistic nutrition consultation
