New Animal Shelter

The Lenoir County SPCA is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization in Kinston, NC. We are not affiliated with nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA. We are an open door shelter and annually accept about 2,500 stray, neglected, abused or surrendered animals from Lenoir Co. We are in desperate need because our area has suffered from three recent Hurricanes, and their subsequent major flooding. Florence being the most recent and hardest hitting in our history. Leaving many of our residents and their pets without homes or places to live. These animals are currently being housed in a 40 year old building that can not humanely house the number of animals we are taking care of.
We are thrilled to announce this campaign to build a new shelter!
Why build? We are building a more humane future for animals that desperately need a second chance!
We have purchased property on HWY 258 N in Kinston and are finalizing building plans, so we need YOU to help us reach our goal.
