Kecia Osby's Total Loss
I was awakened by a phone call at 2:15 on Aug. 4th by a distressed voice saying, "Momma, my house is on fire...someone drove their vehicle into it and caught on fire!!!" I immediately prepared myself and grabbed my keys and headed over there (5 blocks away). As soon as I turned the corner on Redbud I saw the smoke and lights flashing everywhere. My heart was racing but there was a calmness when I saw her and her two kids standing across the street. I've been here before so I knew exactly how she felt to lose EVERYTHING....car and all. She works at Rise Academy, a very hard worker at that!! I pray you will find it in your heart to be a blessing to her and her girls. Please keep them lifted in prayer, as this is a very tough time for them. GOD BLESS!!
