Keep Sheri Hip with A New One

For over 25 years, our friend Sheri Lewis has provided us a great space and affordable dance classes.  Westlake Dance Center has given us a place to dance, choreograph, rehearse, exercise, make friends, a platform to start a dance career.  It is a gift from Sheri.

Now she needs us.  Our friend, our teacher, our massage therapist, our fellow human being, is battling unbearable hip pain and needs surgery.  Unfortunately, a new insurance policy has denied covering her surgery because they consider it preexisting and to pay out of pocket will be less expensive.  So I hope to raise at least $15K by the end of April so she can schedule her surgery asap.  With a new hip, I would be so happy to see her kick and do rolling jazz splits on the floor again, but I would settle for her to be able to walk and function daily without pain.

Now is our opportunity to give back.  Collectively, we can help Sheri as she has helped us.  She needs a new hip and our help to keep choreographing and perform daily life duties.  So please consider giving to this cause and keep Sheri hip with a new one.
