Greetings to you all!
Our work continues to prevent any more of the black rock (uranium) from being brought up from under the ground. There are 3 new uranium mines on the horizon on our Treaty Ten Territory and there has been reported uranium spill into the ground water at Key Lake Mill. The decommissioning of Cluff Lake claimed to be the best in the world does not meet the standards promised before they opened that mine.
Our networking and education efforts are growing. Right now I am in need of a new laptop as mine is on its last legs. It is difficult to meet some of our committments to do presentations on-line as this hardworked laptop shuts down frequently. Please help me reach my goal of $700 for the purchase of a new tool to keep doing what we must do.
Many of you have been very generous in assisting us in the past. Without your aid our ability to be the watchdogs on this industry and hold them to account would have suffered.
