The Meadowlands is vital to the harness racing industry and has no alternative forms of gaming to sustain racing operations.
Over the last few years I have listened to the critics and heard all the disparaging remarks regarding how I run the Meadowlands.
Some critics had constructive critiques and I tried implementing a number of their suggested fixes to the marketing, wagering format and racing programs. However, the vast majority of these criticisms were hurtful and destructive to not only the Meadowlands but to the harness industry as a whole.
I am tired of all the detractors with the “I can do better” attitude that have no skin in this game. I am giving all of these naysayers the opportunity to put their money where their mouths are and help fund the yearly losses.
All monies raised will go to offset operating losses of over $2 million.
