Kellie's U. S. Olympic Qualifying
Donation protected
Kellie Delka is trying to qualify for the Seoul Olympics as a member of the U.S. Skeleton Team. She currently competes in Europe and trains in Texas, Colorado and in Europe. Kellie has had some success competing in Europe, but needs help with finances to continue to pursue her Olympic Dream. Her family and friends are behind her efforts, but needs additional financial support because the U.S. Olympic Organization does not help financially during this qualification process. Her sled alone...skeleton involves piloting a small sled head first down an icy track...costs in the range of $8,000 alone, runners $600 each, speed suits $800, with travel expenses in excess of $12,000. Clearly, expenses can mount up fairly rapidly.
Kellie is a former member of the University of North Texas track team and a member of the UNT Cheer team, and a UNT graduate, so she knows what it takes to be a top tier athlete. She is currently training for the Soeul Olympic Games. Hopefully, we can help her reach her Olympic Dream. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
