Kent State Figure Skating

Hello!!  We are the Kent State Figure Skating Club.  Our club brings together skaters of all levels to enjoy the sport of skating.  We meet once a week to work on fundamentals and programs.  The Kent State Figure Skating club preforms at events like hockey games and the winter and spring show.  This semester we have decided to take a step further with our skating club and we have registered for our first skating competition!  The sport of figure skating is not cheap.  We do not get any funds from Kent State University.  We have to pay for ice time, individual practice times, skate maintenance, competitions, uniforms, and other things that are needed to keep our club running.  All of these are very costly to college students, so we as a team are fundraising in hopes of keeping our fees down.
