Paying tribute to Kevin.

Hi.

Several very kind people have asked if they can contribute in support of Kevin and Kirk. I’ve set this gofundme up to support that effort.

Kevin’s passing on 2/2/24 was very sudden and occurred without advanced planning or preparation with regard to closing up his affairs. As you might imagine, this process is very complicated.

Kirk and Kevin spent nearly 25 years together! However, due to different reasons, they were not legally married or registered as domestic partners. This unfortunately leaves a very precarious position to navigate. Some of you know the gritty details.

We are planning a celebration of Kevin’s life (a party) in May somewhere around Kevin’s birthday. We have so much on our plates right now it is simply impossible to make that happen any sooner. Our ability to put this on completely relies on your support. More info on this later when we have solid plans.

Kevin’s body is being cremated. There will not be a funeral or an immediate memorial. Just the celebration of Kevin’s life in May.
