Laying Joshua to rest
Donation protected
My son Joshua passed away unexpectedly and way too soon on the morning of July 6th. I'm completely heartbroken and in extreme shock and disbelief. Please consider donating to cover the cost of the casket and grave marker so that we can lay him to rest.
My son was my whole world. I had struggled for over 6 months fighting to move him from Pierce to Kitsap county, and we had just gotten the transfer referral at the end of May and were finally in the process of moving him closer to home, so I could see him much more often. Yet unfortunately this all came too late.
Joshua began having seizures in 2013, and ultimately his epilepsy ended his life. I never imagined I'd be burying my son in his 20s. Especially not anytime soon.
I truly hope no one else has to endure the wrenching pain of losing their child. At this time I ask my friends, family, and acquaintances to please consider donating anything you are able, to help with Joshua's funeral expenses. I've been so fortunate to have you all in our lives, and would sincerely appreciate any help you can give. The goal amount of this fundraiser is to cover the cost of a casket and a grave marker.
Joshie had the biggest, best smile, he loved trains, roller coasters and had many lion and lamb stuffed animals. He taught himself how to read, and learned other languages and loved learning about other countries. He enjoyed the beach and swimming. He was the biggest fan of Wheel of Fortune and preferred game shows over cartoons growing up. Joshua also was a huge Disney fan, Its A Small World being his very favorite.
He was so kind hearted and had the greatest smile. He deeply touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Joshua was a special gift. On earth or in heaven, I'll always cherish him. My heart aches, I'm completely devastated that my boy is gone, gone forever.
Joshie, mommy will love you forever
“It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes,
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all”
