Kids Count Charity
What an inspiration!
For almost 15 years, Kids Count has led the way and consistently tackled the hard-hitting issues that affect young people today. They’re not just there when the media or the funders show interest.
They smash the media negative stereotyping of young people; leading by example and being catalysts for change in their communities and beyond.
Kids Count is a youth charity taking a holistic approach, is solution-focused and youth-led but work with everyone invested in improving the life chances and outcomes for young people. It informs, educates and creates peer-to-peer workshops on knife crime, gang culture, county lines, victims of crime, mental health, bullying, suicide, healthy relationships, sexual harassment and exploitation, personal safety, driving responsibly, and many more issues. It works across socio-economic barriers, racial, religious and geographical divides.
Its research, programs and initiatives, are created, designed, managed and implemented by young people and their community, for young people.
