Kim Dixon & Family Cancer Recovery Fund
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE A USED CAR FOR KIM DIXON AND HER FAMILY. (Please read below)
During January 2018, Kim received the startling news that she would face the long road of stage three colon cancer. A hand full of immediate family and friends were among the few who were told of her illness. This was the worst possible diagnosis to have and the survival rate for Kim was not in her favor.
In one year, Kim endured two months of chemo and radiation, was forced to carry an ostomy bag, and suffered through surgery to remove the tumors.
Thankfully, Kim's surgeon made her a candidate for a bag reversal but it has still left her weak and in pain.
Due to the extensive amount of medical bills and with her husband by her side, taking care of her while she healed, William sadly lost his job. This resulted in a downward spiral of apartment eviction, auto repossession and liquidating all of their savings.
Because of this setback, Kim lost a lot of time healing as she headed back to work. She is currently still working while she and her family have temporary housing provided by a friend.
Currently, the family is spending unnecessary absorbent amounts of money on Uber rides to get to and from work and just around town. Having their own vehicle would really help this family get ahead. We are praying for $10,000 but expecting God to do more because He's God and he can.
As a friend, I am asking for your generous thoughts, prayers, and donations to help this amazing family in need. I was not asked to create a fundraiser but felt led to do so. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.
