Kittens are Cute, but Neuter is Cuter!
Donation protected
Imagine a European country without any shelter or rescue for cats, and without a single organized spay and neuter program. Now picture an estimated 100,000 stray cats and dogs in that country. Hard to imagine, isn't it? That's Montenegro.
Spaying and neutering is the only humane and effective way to improve the health of the individual animals, and cut the stray population to a manageable size!
That's the reason we started Kotor Kitties: horrified tourists couldn't walk away from the tens of thousands of stray animals without helping to create a solution.
With over 150 cats on a waiting list to be spayed, Kotor Kitties is in full fundraising mode! Won't you help be part of the solution? Montenegro's animals deserve humane care to help them live healthier lives, and to reduce the population.
Your $50 dollar donation will fund a mother cat's sterilization, rabies shot, worming, and flea treatment. Just $35 helps a tom cat stop fighting, as well as reproducing!
Kotor Kitties is an all-volunteer group, with no staff, and very limited overhead. Volunteer vets from other countries are not allowed to help these animals. We pay the local vets we work with directly, and receive pictures of each cat and the bill immediately after surgery.
We hope you'll "Like" and "Follow" us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/kotorkitties.
And of course we hope you'll help pay for some cuter, neutered kitties!!
