Koby's Surgery Fund
Donation protected
UPDATE: We have raised all $4500 needed for Koby's surgery with the help of an online auction. Koby gets to have his knee surgery. :) Thank you all so much for your generosity, support, love and prayers. It wouldn't have been possible without you. I can't tell you much I appreciate you all. It really means the world to me. Thank you so much for helping me help my boy. I so look forward to him bouncing, playing and enjoying himself on all four paws again.
Sincerely, Kim and Koby.
I changed the goal on the account so that it would not show us needed any further funds. No need to make any further donations.
I will leave this up for a couple more days so people can read the update.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Over the years Koby tricks and paintings have brought many smiles to people all over the world, and his paintings have raised thousands of dollars for deserving children and animal charities. His paintings have also been donated to children and adults facing difficult times in hopes of bring them an extra smile.
This is the side we are used to being on, that is in part why it is so hard to ask for help.
Not only has Koby enriched the lives of others, he has made a profound difference in my life. He came into my life at a time of loss, and a lot of physical and emotional pain. Working with him gave me a new passion, and hope for a brighter future. Now Koby needs some help of his own, and I really hope to be able to give it to him.
So, it is with a heavy heart and hope of getting my baby back up on all four feet, that I ask if you can please consider making a donation to help fund his surgery.
Koby currently spends a good portion of the day on three legs, and as you can see in his picture he can not even sit straight. He leaves his bad leg splayed out to the side. Somedays he is able to walk on it some, while other days he won't put it down at all. After months of varying degrees of lameness in his rear left hind and a few vet appointments. He was finally reffered to the surgeouns at ORVA (oregon veterinary referral associates) and diagnosed with Torn Crutiate ligements. Their recomendation for a full recovery and no restrictions once it is healed, is the TPLO surgery. Our quote for the surgery cost, a total of $3,800- 4,500.
I thank you for taking the time to read this, and hope that with your help he will be back to running, playing and bringing smiles to those in need.
Your donations and or shares mean the world to me and are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Kim and Koby
