Kohala’s vet and travel expenses

I am on vacation on the big island of Hawaii and I found a starving stray dog on the side of an abandoned road in the rainforest yesterday evening. We contacted the animal rescue and they urged us to take her back to the mainland with us because they have no room for her. Surrendering her would result in euthanasia. After hearing that, this sweet baby now has a forever home in Seattle, WA! I’ve named her Kohala after the area she was found and the rescue helping with her paperwork. She is scheduled for the vet this morning, however, this is obviously an unplanned expense! Any amount given would be a huge help in getting this baby girl the essential care she needs until we can go home to Seattle on Friday morning, as well as any follow up care she would need. Mahalo!
