Kope Foundation

At Kope Foundation we like to say that we are not an organization, we are a project, for the people of Pader, Uganda. 

Pader was deeply affected by one of the most brutal wars in history and ten years later is struggling to recover. Today, the volatility of Ugandan politics means that peace is delicate, especially if people believe that they must fight for their most basic human needs.

This project is about preventing violence, generating livelihoods and teaching skills to those who need it most. 

Our motto is "Community First" and we have never faltered from that mantra.
