Kris Waring College Fund

This is Kristoper Jayden Waring. He is two years old now. His mother had him when she was sixteen. (I feel the need to correct from sixteen to just turned seventeen when she got pregnant. I want this to totally open and honest.) Her name was Danielle Waring. He was born 8/6/2014. Due to her young age when he was born, after four months she asked her great-grand mother and me to take care of him. She signed over all parental rights to us,Debbie and Bowden Oakes. And only asked that when she was older and stable we would let him go back to her.  We have taken care of him for almost two years. Debbie and I love him with no bounds. Unfortunately, at the age of nineteen, just three days before her twenth birthday she died in a house fire in Duluth Georgia on October 23, 2016 that killed five people. Dying in the fire was not only Danielle, but Kris's grandfather, David Waring. We have given Kris a good stable home to grow up in. He is well provided for and loved. Getting a good four year college education is another matter. Debbie is 65 and I am 67. I doubt in retirement this is an option for us with Kris. That is why I am asking for your help. He deserves the best chance to be the best person he can be. If you feel so moved to contribute, thank you.
