Kristian's Homegoing Services
Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Kristian Leon Scott was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was loved by many. He was athletically talented, academically gifted and great with his hands. He could have chosen to be anything and been successful. His dream was to start his own business as a contractor fixing houses.
Life wasn’t the best or the easiest for Kris growing up. He was only 9 years old when our father died from suicide. He never was able to fully come to terms with that reality. Now his 3 year old son has lost his father due to a homicide. When will the cycle end?
Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the age of 25 my little brother’s life was cut short. After being shot multiple times he was rushed into surgery where he fought for more than 8 hours. God said enough was enough and called him home to finally be reunited with our father. He came in the world fighting for his life and went out the same way.
Many are asking what they can do to help. We’re trying to raise funds to cover his funeral expenses. Any money raised above our goal will be put into a trust for his son Je’Kai.
If you knew Kris personally and would like to help, we are thankful. If you never met him but his story has touched your heart and you would like to help the family, we are grateful. Thank you all and please keep our family in prayer.
I hope that you look at this story, and realize; that life is too short and tomorrow isn’t promised. Please put down these guns, think of the effect your actions will have after you pull the trigger. Love the ones who love you, and make sure they know it every day.
Rest Well little brother I will always love you- your big sis Kristina
