Skating expenses for 2016/2017

Hi! We're Kseniya Ponomaryova and Oleg Altukhov. We began skating together in December of 2011, and have consistently show impovement with each successive competition. We have now done twenty competitions including four times at US Nationals (for our placements, check out the About Us page on our website: http://www.kseniya-oleg.com)

 At the 2016 Prudential U.S Figure Skating Championships we placed 11th in Senior, the highest level in figure skating (top placed US teams in Senior go on to compete at the Olympics). Our goal is to make Team USA and represent the US at international competitions.

We're looking forward to improving further in the coming years, and it is our long term goal to represent the United States in the Winter Olympics.

Competitive ice dancing is not a cheap endeavor, and combined we pay about $30,000 a year in expenses. Some of which comes from the generous support of people like you. This covers coaching fees ($13,700), ice rental ($6,700), travel expenses for five competitions and an ice show ($5,000), two sets of costumes ($3,000), and skates ($1,200).
