Kuptana house fire relief fund
Donation protected
Roland and Rita Kuptana and their 8 children recently lost their home to a tragic house fire last night in Tuktoyaktuk.
This house has been a long time Kuptana family home as our late parents Donald Sr and Bessie Kuptana lived in their since the 60/70s
We all have memories that we've shared in this home and this home was home to a lot other people that our parents took in as their own.
It's never easy losing everything thing you have and do have this happen right before Christmas makes it all that harder to deal with.
My brother Roland was the last one in the home after making sure all their children were out of the burning house.
He suffered minor burns and was later sent to the Inuvik hospital for observation.
This has been a nightmare but with the tremendous amount of support this family will receive from our community and those around the NWT we can help them get their lives back together.
Whatever amount you can donate please do so as this will help them get the necessities that they will need to go forward.
From the bottom of our hearts the Kuptana family would like to thank the Tuk fire department, RCMP, the nurses at the Health centre and members of the community that have been there supporting them.
God bless you all!
