Destination Imagination Globals!
Donation protected
Destination Imagination is a creativity and teamwork based worldwide competition that our Kirkland team has been participating in together for 5 years!
We compete in the Engineering Challenge, in which we must create and perform a skit, complete with props, costumes, and a backdrop, about two countries solving an international problem. Additionally, we must create two or more structures made of wood and glue that work together to hold as much weight as possible. We've been working very hard since September to prepare for the competitions.
After winning first place at the regional and state tournaments--and earning two Renaissance Awards for excellent engineering and design--our team has earned the privilege of representing Washington in the Global Finals competition this May in Knoxville, Tennessee!
Unfortunately, all costs come out of our own pockets. These expenses include food, lodging, registration, transportation, and shipment of all of our props. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help offset the costs and make our trip as fun and successful as possible! Thank you!
