Help our blind father see again

Donation protected
About 30 years ago my father Joseph Vasconcelos was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a rare degenerative eye disease which breaks down the cells of the retina. He was told that he would eventually become blind and there was nothing he could do. This didn’t stop him from taking care of his family that consists of 4 sons and his high school sweetheart Jean Vasconcelos. He was still living his life, although his disease has hindered him from being able to do things that most of us have taken for granted, having eye sight. Recently he has been in contact with a company named eSight, they have developed glasses that really allow him to see. It is a miracle but the only catch is they cost about 10,000 dollars, if we could receive just any help at all it would go such a long way to creating an easier and more enjoyable-life for not only Joe but the whole family, allowing him to complete day to day tasks easier and even work or just the ability to sit down as a family and watch tv would be amazing. I have attached 2 videos below in the first video the sight of a picture of his wife, my mother, immediately brought him to tears this was such an amazing moment and I’m glad we got to experience it as a family, in the second video he sees his youngest son for the first time in his life along with seeing each of his older sons as adults.
