Nick's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Nicholas William Roberts was loved by many people. His family and friends will miss him everyday. His loss is unexpected and tragic. Nick had a congenital condition called "vascular malformation"  that caused his blood vessels to be weak and thin.  On Monday,  a blood vessel in his brain burst causing massive brain damage that unfortunately was irrepairable.   His family has spent the last week with him in the Neuro ICU at OHSU and the time has come for them to say goodbye as Nick moves on to the next life.

Nick is a giving person and even now is donating his organs so that another family will have more time with their loved one. He is a true hero!

His loss will affect many people, but mostly his beautiful 2 year old son Dominic.  Dominic was Nick's whole world.   He is Nick's legacy.  It is unfortunate that he will not have has father around, but he is surrounded by family and friends who will help him know who his father was and how much he loved him.  We want to support Dominic's mom to make sure he has what he needs in the days ahead.

The family is not prepared financially to pay for Nick's  medical costs and memorial service.   We are asking for your help to celebrate the life of this amazing young man, offset the cost of his medical bills and to provide for his young son.

The funds raised will go to pay for his life celebration and medical bills.  The remaining contributions will go to Dominic's care.

No contribution is too small and will be greatly appreciated.  We would like to start planning the celebration right away, so please make your contribution as soon as you can.   Nick's Dad Christopher and I (Susan Roberts), will be handling the withdrawal and use of funds from the campaign for my stepson's final expenses.  Any excess funds will be placed into a special account for Dominic's future care and education.

Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.

REV 14:13  - Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
