I want everyone to know this money is truly appreciated! Thanks a million! This will be in the families hands when all said and done for funeral costs, celebration of kyles life, financial bills, anything and everything the family needs it for. We can't thank everyone enough for their support and love! All of the donations not used will go the the suicide prevention charity!
This is my family, my brother, a friend I've know since I was 8. His sister is my sister. His mom is my mom. He decided to go and be with the lord August 12th, 2017 and his friends and family need your support more than ever right now. His family is traveling to New Hampshire to go and get him and take him to his home town in Indiana to say there fair wells. It's never goodbye it's always see you in the future. We in Colorado want to have a celebration of life for this sweet angel. To do so I need your help for my family! He was always full of life, had a bachelor's degree.. working on his masters. He just recently accepted a job with the washington red skins and had love for his girlfriend like no other. At the age of 24 he had a surreal experience to go to Ireland. He always seemed happy and not a care in the world. No one will ever understand why people decide to take there life.. But depression is real! He needed a friend to talk to, he needed family to be there, he was in a state of mind that someone should of heard his calls. Please help in this time of tragedy and if you can't please pray for my family more than ever right now!
Kyles words July 29th, 2017
I don't normally publicly display my views on certain topics, but I've been seeing a lot of news lately about depression and suicides and felt as though I needed to get my word out because I have strong opinions about it.
I don't understand why people are so quick to grieve someone's death, but so hesitant to hear their cries for help? So easily mourn the loss, but refuse to accept the reasoning behind it calling them selfish or ignorant. The real ignorance is when you ask yourself why they did it. Depression is real. Anxiety is real. Obsession is real. Unless we're going through these, none of us will truly understand what it is like to live day after day under these conditions; it's not as easy as it is for others. Each of these comes in a number of different forms and are a result of a number of different experiences. Many times all it takes to save a life is to just listen. Ask someone how they are doing and actually mean it; pay attention. If someone says they think they're depressed, don't say they're over dramatic or trying to gain attention. Listen to them and try to help. Be the one who helps them off the ledge, not the one who pushes them off.
There's such a thing as a suicide hotline, but I'm not going to post that because you should redirect those you might call your "friends" to a call now phone number. Consider this an open invitation to anyone who needs someone to listen to them, I don't care if we are friends or have had our differences everyone deserves the future.
Hold your loved ones close! Hold your babies tight! Hold your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandmother's, grandfather's, friends by your side! Everyone deserves to love life because YOU are loved! Never forget it!
I will always love and miss you my brother Kyle! Keep your mom and Joana safe in this tragedy! You are now our guardian angel! Fly high sweet brother of mine!
