Kyle's Showcase Expenses

Hey guys! It's me - Kyle!

I NEED YOU!

As many of you know,I am an actor and I'm in my final semester of graduate school at the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater School Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University. Or as we call it the ARTMXATIATTAHU. (It really rolls off the tongue, I know.)

In my time here at the Institute I've had some crazy cool opportunities. I got to travel to Moscow for four months to study at the incredible Moscow Art Theater. I got to train under some incredible artists. I got to love (well, mostly) 23 incredible artists in the program with me. I got to eat some really good pizza and drink some really good wine. I also got to work on some incredible shows while here. I got to play Prince Victor in the first production of the new musical The Pirate Princess. I got to do three shows at the Moscow Art Theater School, including playing Solyony in Checkhov's Three Sisters under the direction of renowned Russian actor Igor Zolotovitsky. I've been working weekly for 2.5 years in The Donkey Show, a disco adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Diane Paulus. Speaking of Shakespeare, I'm also rehearsing a production of As You Like It as Touchstone. (Playing the fool is a BIIIIIG stretch for me.) I'm currently working on a Commedia dell'Arte/vaudeville/clown extravaganza, A Big Mess, under the direction of Daniel Passer. (Google him - he's cool as hell.) Probably the most exciting project I had the great fortune to work on was swinging the (now Broadway bound) production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. All this is in addition to classes six days a week and rehearsals seven.

Now, the reason I'm telling you all what I've been up to is so you don't think I'm a total slacker who is was too lazy to get a job. ON THE CONTRARY! I've been working 16 hours a day because I'm an overcommitter and a perfectionist and I'm drowning help me.

At the end of our five semesters, our program culminates in acting showcases in NYC and LA. Getting to and from said places can be pretty expensive for a starving student actor. That's why I'm appealing to you now!

If you can find any spare change in your bank account to share with me, it would be much appreciated. Your cabbage would go to help with the following things:
-flight to and from LA
-train to NYC
-accommodations in LA
-a rental car in LA
-my sanity and success!

THANK YOU EVERY ONE. I'D GIVE YOU A BIG OL' KISS ON THE MOUTH IF I COULD!!!!
