Kyra Sunshine Scarlet

On Friday, February 22, 2019 our dear Kyra Sunshine Scarlet was the victim of a freak landslide at San Francisco’s Fort Funston beach. The only solace is she was with her friend and dog on a beach with a view of an ocean, which was her happy place. On December 11 she posted a picture on social media with the caption “I love the ocean, like….a lot.”

Among the many loved ones she has left are her loving mother, father, older brother and sister, and two younger sisters and nephew who are impacted by this tragedy, and with many are embarking on the heart-wrenching journey of living without Kyra.

As extended family, we humbly ask at this time for you to support Krya’s family by donating to this memorial fund to honor her life. By doing so, may it give you peace to know that you are taking part in helping the family, who is desperately seeking comfort and peace, be freed from the distraction of expenses, as they continue the wait to bring Krya home for a memorial service. Immediate family members have had to travel from Utah to California to be close to the location of the slide while the search for Kyra‘s body continues. These funds will support the family with all related expenses and provide peace of mind during this tender time.
