LadyCoders Need Your Help!

50% of all women leave tech within 12 years, at 2x the rate of men (Source: NCWIT). Lack of mentorship and lack of role models were their two top reasons (Source: ISACA).
We’ve crafted the LadyCoders conference to directly resolve women leaving.

200 women developers have signed up to receive the mentorship and leadership they need to stay in the industry. We’ve figured out how to provide them the path forward that they so desperately crave by pairing them with women who have 15+ years experience. We are also unique in that 40% of our speakers and mentors are women of color.
We do not charge the women to attend. We want there to be no barriers to entry because these women are on the front lines, usually one of the "only's" in their departments, offices, buildings.
The conference needs your help. We are under-funded and it's two weeks away (April 6 - 8). The cost of the conference is $35,000 or $175 per attendee. We've raised $20,000 in sponsorship and are trying to cover the rest with your contribution. So our ask to the big wide community is that we rally. Rally as a community and help sponsor one woman to attend, at $175. And if you can't swing that, we will take any donation you are willing to make. Every bit helps make a difference and we have to come together as a community to help make this a better industry!
Your money will go directly to covering costs — food, drinks, speaker travel, event rentals, facilitation supplies and onsite childcare. Your money will also go directly to supporting women owned and women of color owned businesses. 70% of our food vendors, and business vendors (social media, photography, videography) are women of color.
We appreciate your support!
