Land purchase for Attakapas Tribe

Hello Donors,
My name is Nolan Gobert and I am the Principal Chief of Attakapas Opelousas Prairie Tribe which is a non-profit organization registered by the State of Louisiana.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to receive donations to purchase back at least an acre of Native Land here in Opelousas, Louisiana. The purpose of the Native Land is to have a sacred place to educate our community on the Attakapas Opelousas Prairie Tribe's historical and present history, host Native American Indian events, display Native American contemporary art, and to have Native Land for our future generations.
Our tribe currently has 1,300 active members which are mostly located in St. Landry Parish of Louisiana. We are acknowledged by the City of Opelousas as a Native American Tribe.
