Many of you may know that on May 24, 2017, LaShon was driving her bus at the intersection of Oakland & Stadium Dr. when a driver who was exceeding the speed limit and driving erratically, loss control of his vehicle crashing into the bus she was driving. Lashon was critically injured and is currently still in the ICU fighting to recover. This is a tragic event that will leave a lasting impression on everyone involved. With the injuries sustained, LaShon will have a long road to recovery. We would like to help her on her journey and support her children in the process. Many people have inquired on what they can do to help, this can be a start. We appreciate each and every one of you this far for all of the kind jestures. All monies will go to fully support our co-worker and friend, for her care and needs throughout this journey. LaShon has been apart of the Metro Transit team for 21 years, she was working overtime on this day to be able to get a roof put on her home.
