Shalom friends, family and brothers and sisters in Messiah! My name is Laura (Rogers) Weimer. As some of you might know, I have been a musician for most of my life and more recently a song writer being urged by the voice of my Father in Heaven, YHVH, to write original vocal and piano music that is pure to the scriptures and easy to listen to.
YAH has blessed me tremendously within the last 2 years by giving me unforeseen places and opportunities to share this new found skill of writing. Even though His gentle push has been difficult at times, I have enjoyed YAH’s leading each step of the way.
I have had many people reassure me to take the next step of recording the music so it could be more efficiently shared, but it has always seemed an impossibility in my mind to record because I have struggled with the limiting belief that I am alone and it is tactless to ask for help. However, The Father has been working on me to open up so I can receive help. I recently was emboldened by some dear friends. They explained that my goal of getting the music out there is very possible, in fact, could be easily achieved in a few small steps! I was awoken with excitement!
I know it is important for me to take concrete steps in recording my music because so many people now have suggested and requested it. YHVH has been speaking loudly to me.
Now that I have decided to record, the next step is funding. I need $7,000 to complete the project. This includes: Equipment, Help, Editing, and Production. I plan to release professional sounding individualized tracks for downloading or even a CD as well by the Summer/Fall of 2017. Furthermore, it is my prayer and desire that this funding will set the groundwork for future endeavors!
I am genuinely thankful for your consideration and your contribution if you decide to give. For those of you who have had words of wisdom and positivity for me, please know that I have taken each conversation to heart. I pray that YHVH uses my actions and yours to bless the Body of Messiah for The Work of His Kingdom.
