Lauren's campaign for Angels for Animals Rescue

‘CHARLIE’ is a 5 year old lab who was surrendered to the Pomona Shelter- luckily at the shelter an ANGEL named Nancy Jimeno with OZZY & FRIENDS intercepted his intake and brought him and his BFF, a German Shepherd, to her private kennel near Long Beach, CA.

His BFF got adopted and ‘CHARLIE’ got depressed and anxious. He went on ‘home visits’ but had a LEFT LEG LIMP and no one wanted him.  We followed his story on FACEBOOK  and his constant rejection broke our hearts-  we contacted Nancy and took him to the vet - low & behold he has a torn cruciate and needs surgery! 

He is is at a loving foster home and is slated to have surgery on January 14th.  We need to raise $2500 for surgery (we have $ to cover PART of surgery), post op care and transportation to Michigan where a home is lined up- unless a perfect home in Los Angeles pops up.

More information about Angels for Animals Rescue: Angels For Animals Rescue Organization is a 501 (c)(3) non profit that goes into inner city animal shelters in Los Angeles and 1. adopts cats & dogs 2. provides medical care for them, then 3. rehouse the animals in a loving foster or permanent home. We ALSO network cats and dogs on social media. The more fosters and funds ~ the more animals we can rescue!
