Lauren’s Move To NYC

Hi everyone, I’ve got some big news! I’ve been offered to be in an amazing program with CBS in New York. I’ll be moving next week to start the Page Program. It’s a year and a half and a dream come true for me. As a page I’ll be exposed to the operations of the news division, entertainment, sports, business and more. As a recent college graduate it’s huge to be able to go to the number one television market! Storytelling and journalism is my passion. I’m very excited about this next chapter but I can’t do it without your support. We all know New York is very expensive and I don’t usually ask for financial help, but rent is up to $1,000 a month. I’ve always been resourceful, making a little go a long way but the program doesn’t help with relocation or the costs of travel. I’m chasing my dreams and investing in my future with hopes to change the world as a journalist. This is only the beginning and I appreciate you and your support. Thank you!
