Lee Co. Tornado Relief
Donation protected
On March 3rd 2019, Lee County Alabama residents suffered from severe weather which produced a tornado, causing extensive damage across the community. Over a dozen people died and many houses, businesses and schools took on damage.
I am looking to collect money and resources to help provide relief to our neighbors and to help provide support and rebuild our community.
It is so sad what happened today and I just hope that we are able to come closer through it and provide the support that our neighbors need.
I will be using money collected here to provide resources and assistance to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the East Alabama Medical Center, individuals, and other organizations helping the relief effort in the community.
I will be in contact with leaders in the community tomorrow to determine how to best distribute these resources.
In addition, we are also accepting food and supplies donations at Coffee Cat located at 124 Tichenor Ave in Auburn.
Thank you to everyone who is providing support for our community. I will be updating this page throughout the week with updates.
I plan the money raised here to help individuals and organizations with the relief effort. Specially, I will be buying relief supplies and distributing them in the community at the end of the week. Money will he spent on food, water, candles, firewood, and other resources to help those affected. Additional funds will be donated to the volunteer fire departments in the county.
