After KROGER closed ALL stores in NC Lee lost his job & insurance after 25 years of service. Food Lion (which is a great opportunity for Lee) hired him and he works 5 hours day BUT he broke his foot and has been out of work for 5 weeks with no pay. His CAPITAL BLUE insurance is SO BAD he was denied Acute Rehab and was put in a nursing home for PT. CAPITAL BLUE also DENIED his Botox shots which helps his tremors so he can feed himself. The physical therapist said that he is working really hard but because of his tremors his progress is slow, All Lees goal is to "get my life back" Go back to work and go back to his own HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. Not asking too much. After months of working on it Lee was DENIED SSI & Medicaid. There is NO HAND UP in this country....only a handout!
