Legal Fund for Yeslin and Sons
Donation protected
Over the past 4 months Sanctuary DMV and the DMV Sanctuary Congregation Network have been supporting Yeslin and her two sons (2 years old and 4 weeks old). Yeslin arrived 7 months ago from Guatemala where she was fled persistent death threats by drug traffickers with her husband and mother-in-law.
Yeslin was released from detention with her 2 year old son and 6 months pregnant, but her husband and mother-in-law (who has a pace maker and serious heart condition) have been detained since January. All three are in need of legal support - and her mother-in-law and husband face urgent risk of deportation, even though their asylum cases have not been fully heard by a judge.
Any contributions will go directly to lawyers for Yeslin and her family members, with the hopes of reunifying them quickly here in DC.
