Len Schelb Jr. Memorial Fund
Len Schelb Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep, January 14, 2018.
My uncle Lenny has battled COPD for many years, which ultimately landed him on the lung transplant list. But in the recent months he had suffered 2 episodes with his oxygen levels, which not only made him ineligible for the transplant list but that had him in the hospital for weeks at a time. He was finally well enough to leave the hospital and his daughter Andrea brought him home with her and her family to live. He was so excited to be with his family. The kids would be playing, or just being kids, often times getting loud. Andrea would ask him, " Dad, if they are being too rowdy or loud I can ask them to be quiet." He said "absolutely not, I love it." He was at peace and loved hearing the sounds and the life going on around him. He is now in heaven with his son, parents, and all 3 of his sisters. Oh what a time they must be having!
Lenny was a graduate of Hackett High School, class of 1969.
Please consider joining me in a financial contribution to help Andrea to be able to grieve and not worry about the medical expenses and memorial costs.
