CANCER..that dreaded C word..
It's TERMINAL...
A maximum of 3 months left to live..Words that you NEVER want to hear..

This is my Aunty Lesley. She's a mum, a Grandma to 2 kids, with a 3rd due in June, a daughter, a sister to 3, an Aunty to 7 and a great friend to many. She has always been a happy, positive character, who loved to dance and help others out.
In October 2016, she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative very aggressive breast cancer. After a mammogram and biopsy, it had metastasised and spread to the lymph nodes. After much research, she decided not to have conventional treatment such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which makes you sick and kills off the immune system and costs the NHS a minimum of 30k. Instead, she's using an alternative therapy called Metabolic Therapy which involves following an organic vegan diet, no sugar, various supplements, pure oxygen into the body, intravenous vitamin C injections, B17.
Since the diagnosis last October she has unfortunately been through a chain of personal events, that has had a massive impact on her physical and mental health.
Monday 20th February, we unfortunately got the news that the cancer has spread to her liver, lungs and her bones. She is now terminal and has been given a maximum of 6 months to live.
Friday 10th March, we were informed that the original 6 months left, was way too optimistic, and was looking at more 3 months. It's spread into her bone marrow, and has completely attacked her liver, leaving her with liver failure.
In 9 weeks she lost 3 stone, dropping from a size 12/14 in clothes, to a size 6 within this time.
Having to tell her loved ones, and seeing them upset, is worse for her than being told she's got cancer. She's never smoked or drank in her life, and she's always loved dancing, exercising, eating healthily, helping others out, putting people up in her own home when they've had nowhere else to go. She has always worked with people with special needs, disabilities, behavioural problems, vulnerable children and adults, and looking after the elderly. She's always put herself out for others, and never really done much for herself. She always had a smile on her face and kept positive about everything. Even still to this day, she's kept positive about beating cancer and kept a smile on her face.
8 years ago she had carbon monoxide poisoning and since this, her health has rapidly gone down hill, suffering with conditions such as fibromyalgia, sleep apnea and many more. She's currently in hospital trying to fight cancer, but she is still so worried about everyone else! The one wish that she wants/asks for, is to see her new grandchild being born, and seeing them all grow up.
So, it's time we gave her something back, to help her start ticking things off her bucket list. Please if you can, donate. No matter how big or small the donation is, it's a step closer for her to complete her bucket list, live to see her grandchild being born and see them all grow up, and buy the treatment she needs to help beat cancer. So, please help my Aunty Les by donating whatever you can. It's all greatly appreciated! Please keep your fingers crossed that she'll beat this, and remember...
