LET’S GET KEITH MAGORIMBO TO CAMBRIDGE UNI
To all who care to read
Greetings to you all, my name is Miriam Chidakwa residing in Toronto, Canada. My older sister’s son, Keith Magorimbo who is based in Zimbabwe, recently got accepted to do a Master of Corporate Law degree at the University of Cambridge starting October 2018. I have known Keith all his life and the young man has excelled beyond expectations at any challenge before him. He is a blessing to our family and deserves an opportunity to pursue his dream studies at Cambridge and develop his career in the legal field. Since this campaign is about getting Keith to Cambridge let me tell you a bit about him:
About my nephew Keith
Keith Munyaradzi Magorimbo is a 26 year old male, born and currently residing in Harare, Zimbabwe with older sister, a primary school teacher by profession, and his younger brother who is in high school. Keith did his primary education at Kuwadzana No.2 Primary School in Harare and completed his secondary education at St Francis Xavier’s Kutama College between the period of 1997 and 2009. He achieved fourteen (14) points in his final “A” level Cambridge examinations.
Through a scholarship he managed to complete his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2014 graduating cum laude at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. Suffices to mention that in 2014 he received a Certificate of Excellence from the Nelson R. Mandela School of Law (University of Fort Hare Law Faculty) for being the 3rd best final year law student. Keith has always been an exceptional student in his academic studies and at each interval he has managed to make the family proud, yet he remains a humble child with bigger dreams as an international corporate lawyer.
Master of Corporate Law Offer (University of Cambridge)
On the 19th of April 2018 Keith received an offer for admission to study Master of Corporate Law (MCL) graduate degree programme at the prestigious University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. It is for this offer for admission that I have started a campaign on behalf of Keith to raise funds to assist with paying for his tuition.
The MCL, is a full-time nine-month programme, taught by the Cambridge Law Faculty's team of corporate lawyers, widely recognised as one of the strongest in the corporate law field. It is a rigorous and exclusive specialist programme which admits approximately 25 students worldwide per year and my nephew is one of the admitted students. Keith’s results in commercial subjects are a testimony of his keen interest in corporate law and getting admitted into this program was a dream come true for him. Moreover admission to study MCL at University of Cambridge would boost his resume and profile as far as career development is concerned.
Request for Financial Assistance
As stated above, I request your support, through donations, to fund my nephew’s to study his Master's degree programme at the University of Cambridge. The total cost of the degree programme is £42 000.00.
Tuition: £30 000.00
Maintenance: £12 000.00
So far I have managed to secure funds to the tune of £10 000.00 through well-wishers who understand and believe in my nephew’s ability and potential in the field of corporate law. I am now reaching out to you all requesting financial support in any amount of any currency you can spare. Thank you for taking you time to hear my nephew’s story and thank you for your donations. No matter how small it may seem, it will go a long way in assisting my nephew during the most important career development opportunity of his life and I shall forever be grateful. God Bless you abundantly.
