LETS GET RICKI UP ON HER FEET AGAIN

As some of you may know my beautiful friend Ricki will be undergoing a six hour surgery today to remove a golf ball size tumor( shown in photo’s) from her spine. The tumor itself is so large that unfortunately it’s already caused a lot of damage and erosion to Ricki’s spine and nerves.
During the surgery the surgeon will also be removing some of the bone to get all of the tumor out. Once removed, the surgeons will then have to replace the bone with a cadaver bone transplant, and then her spine will be fused together with rods and pins. As you can imagine, this will mean a long road to recovery just to get Ricki back on her feet. The surgeon has told Ricki that she will spend 3-4 days in hospital, 6 weeks in a brace ( to keep the back straight), and a minimum of 12 weeks recovery.
The reason why I’m setting up this gofundmepage for Ricki is she has always been there for anyone who is in need of help, including myself at times. Ricki is one of the most helpful and giving people I know. She was very reluctant when I suggested I set up a gofundme page to help her with bills, medical expenses, and lost wages, while she’s not able to work. I knew she would be. In fact, her exact words were “but I’m not dying Michele” lol! And my words were “ no Ricki you’re not, but it’s about time you let someone help you for a change. I told her the last thing she needs right now is to be stressing about finances, and I know she is. If you could please donate anything at all towards Ricki’s medical expenses, bills, etc .. I know it will take some of the financial stress ( pardon the pun) of her back while she recovers. Also, any shares of the gofundme link will be just as much appreciated.
