Let’s help Meagan Bechtold’s Family
Donation protected
Meagan and Chris met over 8 years ago in Beauty school and it was love at first sight! Young, true love is hard to find, but the love they share is deep.
They got married November 3, 2016 and it was a day to remember. Not only did they feel they became Mr & Mrs Bechtold but not many can say they married their best friend.
They both have remained in the beauty industry with Meagan working retail and Chris a hair stylist. No wonder Meagan’s hair always looks perfect!
Meagan had a cough for almost 2 months and returned to the doctor on Friday the 13th. They took X-rays and realized something was very wrong and sent her to the hospital immediately. After many tests, fevers, night sweats and possible diagnosis’, they were told she had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma ( a rare form of cancer).
Meagan will need to go have chemotherapy and radiation every 2 weeks for the next 6 months. Which will build up many medical bills along with time off from work for both of them.
So please, if you remember the feeling of true love and can find it in your heart to help this young amazing couple through this very hard time. All donations are greatly appreciated.
I willl continue to update as her progress continues...
UPDATE: Meagan completed her 6 months of chemo, and went in mid January for a PET scan. The results weren’t quite what we had been hoping for, her original mass of cancer was gone but 2 more masses have appeared. They did a biopsy in in the beginning of March and the results came back that they are also Hodgkins Lymphoma. So now the doctors are going to try a more intense approach with her chemo. Last week she went through 3 chemo sessions 3 days in a row! It was tough and probably one of the most grueling things she had done so far. She will be doing that again and then the plan is to send her to California to undergo even more intense chemo along with stem cells. So her battle isn’t done and they continue to need your help and support. Thank you all that have helped them as it has been extremely helpful to both of them. Let’s do our best and help them to continue to reach their goal.
She has been writing a blog called TheBechtoldBattle.blog which you might find very inspiring to read her progress.
Here is one of the articles published about her.
