LET'S GO Boys & Girls
The mission of LET’S GO Boys and Girls is to inspire and support underserved students to become STEM professionals. To date LET’S GO has reached over 5,000 students in Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and the surrounding counties. We support students through schools and out-of-school organizations by providing fun, hands on STEM activities.
Programs include:
· Robotics/Technology
· Science/Engineering
· Math Enrichment
America does not have enough students entering and persevering in our country’s STEM education pipeline. Minorities and women are significantly under represented in the fast growing fields of science, engineering and math. We strive to close this gap and expose underserved students to the marvels of STEM by providing fun, hands on activities.
LET’S GO assesses the STEM potential for each registered student and tracks STEM status through its unique STEM education pipeline. Once high potential STEM students are identified and designated as STEM Candidates, LET'S GO provides extra student and family support to help with entering and persevering in the school based STEM education system.
By donating to LET'S GO, you enable us to provide additional STEM enrichment to underrepresented students. Supportive funds may purchase the following services or products:
$60 manual for teacher
$150-$400 robotics materials
$500 math kit for 10 students
$750 science and engineering kit for 20 students
$3500 LET'S GO professional support for 1 semester
