In June along with the Build Me conference there will be one large scale mural being created. The UMVA-LA would like to do another. We have enlisted the help from local area artist Jeanelle Demers to create the second mural to go up in June. This mural will be located on the backside of Isaacson & Raymond, PA in the Lisbon Street alley way. and will be a couple stories tall.
Jeanelle Demers is well known for her portraits of animals and their human friends. Check her out at www.200faces.com

Jeanelle is working with a concept that combines her love of painting animals with textile patterns inspired by the history of the Bates Mill. She is incorporating her own original textile design into the background of the mural as a nod to this aspect of Lewiston’s heritage.
