Lexie has decided to ask for donations for her to have at least 12” cut off her hair. Lexie wants to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge to children suffering hair loss after cancer treatment. The wigs that the Little Princess Trust make have an average cost to the charity of £500. So a third of the money raised will go to them.
Secondly, Lexie would like to donate another third of the money raised to Cancer Research UK the world leading charity that undertakes research to understand the causes of cancer, through to diagnosing and treating it.
Lastly, the final third of the money that Lexie raises will go to her auntie that is kicking the butt of Pancreatic Cancer. She was diagnosed in 2017 and is a true fighter so Lexie would love to treat her to a day out with her family or something special that her auntie would like.
As we have all known of someone in our lives that has fought this horrible disease or lost the fight. It is important that we all stand together to find a cure and not forgetting to show the people fighting what true heroes they are.
