Lift for Life Academy, founded in 2000, was the first charter school in St. Louis. Over the years, we have grown into a successful school with over 580 students from grades 6-12. Our middle school alone has 250 students. Our environment is built to support and empower our students to help them maximize their potential.
The Marvel film "Black Panther" provides students with an opportunity to see a black comic book character come to life. For our students, it is a chance to see themselves represented. For our students, this movie is monumental and empowering.
We would like to take all middle school students from grades 6-8 to see "Black Panther" at the end of February. We will be pairing this with a free campus tour of Harris-Stowe State University in order to provide our students with an enriching and inspiring day.
We are asking for about $10 per student to cover the cost of a ticket.
Please help us make an amazing impact in the lives of our amazing students! Let's let them see themselves represented as heroes and royalty.
