KOALA RESCUE AND CONSERVATION GROUPS
 
AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2017- SAVE THE KOALA FUNDRAISING
In Aug/Sept Libby was fundraising for 3 groups. Money raised was donated to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, Australia Zoo Hospital and with it being SAVE THE KOALA MONTH- she donated to the Australian Koala Foundation also. In September she raised $1,177.40! This money was donated to the above mentioned groups. ($392.45 each)

Dreamworld
Through their adoption program she would like to adopt Sir David. She was fortunate enough to hold him when we visited in August 2016.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Plant 20 trees for their Tree to me campaigne.

Koala Clancy Foundation- VICTORIA
1yr membership to be involved with weeding and planting trees at the You Yangs in Victoria in vital koala habitat. CLICK HERE for information.

Kangaloola Wildlife Shelter- VICTORIA
Libby met Glenda from Kangaloola Wildlife Shelter back in March 2017. At the time Glenda had 5 koala's in care along with many other animals. These were the first koala's Libby had ever seen in care before. Unfortunatley since our visit- one of the koala's sadly passed (in June) so Glenda has 4 still in her care waiting to get well enough to release. This donation will go towards rehabilitating these beauitful animals. You can read about Kangaloola- HERE

Australian Koala Foundation
Continue her "adoption" of Misty at Dreamworld into 2018. Misty was the very first koala she ever got to hold and cuddle via their adoption program.  Adoption donation- $360.00. Additional donation- $32.45

SPECIAL FUNDRAISER FORWILDLIFE RESCUE 
Libby's school hosted an out of uniform day fundraiser for Coopers Animal Refuge in Dales Creek Vic.

GROCERIES FOR WILDLIFE
Some people donated money for Libby to buy everyday groceries that rescuers use for wildlife rescue. She purchased tissues, eucalyptus oil, laundry detergents, dish washing liquid and hand wash.
PURCHASE MADE: $271.00

TISSUES FOR WILDLIFE
Libby put out a call for 8 people to donate $17 each to pay for tissues for a resuce group. Purchase was made of 96 boxes of forest friendly tissues. Most were donated to Christine at Coopers Animal Refuge. 12 boxes were donated to Wildlife Rescuers.

HELP FOR WILDLIFE
In December 2017, Libby did a drive for Help For Wildlife. A local rescue group that helps monitor the Kinglake population of koalas. 
DONATION MADE: $103.50

SUPPLIES 
Money has been used to purchase supplies. These include timber and suppliesto make joey rescue pouch stands & thread to sew rescue pouches.
