Army Vet needs help no Insurance
My name is David Long, I've have had the great pleasure of meeting Danna in the Army in the late 1990's. She was my CWO3 (Chief Warrant Officer 3). She took me under her wing when I first got to Permanent Party. Like so many of us we became great friends in and out of the Army.
I'm taking on a mission and want you to be a partner with me in my mission to help an Army Vet.
Danna gave up her Military Career to raise her handicapped daughter. She has no Medical Insurance for herself only for her daughter. Like so many Americans she is in the catch 22. She continues to take care of her daughter even into adulthood. She had back surgery recently, total discs replacements. Taking out 5 discs and replacing them with artificial ones. The surgery went radically wrong. Within hours of discharge she was re-admitted with Severe Pneumonia in both lungs, so bad it was unknown if she would live. After spending 2 weeks in the ICU and another week in general stay she was discharged home.
Meanwhile, her financial situation is tenuous. During this time her medical bills continue to mount. Her prescription medications alone nearly get her.
As always, she is optimistic for her future, with rest and less stress level she will return to a full life.
All donations will go to pay down the enormous hospital bill still owed. Thank you for partnering with me to make this happen.
