Little Free Pantry: Austin, Tx
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Jenny Lorraine, owner of the Little Free Pantry in Austin, Tx. For the last three years, the Little Free Pantry has happily helped and served our neighbors in Central Austin and beyond. Food, toiletries, clothing, kids items, and household supplies can be picked up freely from anyone who passes by. Neighbors donate directly to the Pantry, as other neighbors utilize it when needed.
The Pantry has been stolen, replaced, kicked over, glass broken, and I have even walked up to a man violently smashing items of the pantry, after he broke the doors, by swinging what might have been a metal fence or bed rail. but we rebuild and keep going! our current pantry is a little house shaped structure on the corner of Cameron and Cloverleaf in central Austin.
The Little Free Pantry helps our neighbors daily, as they walk by or make a special visit to grab a meal or clothing for a job interview. This campaign will continue to fill the Pantry, as items go so quickly, it’s difficult to keep it stocked with food, water, toiletries and clothing!!
