Littleton Recovery

Bill Littleton has been a friend of mine for 35 years.  We met in the 6th grade.  He is the kindest, most giving friend anyone could have.  Tragedy struck his family May 28th when Bill was hit by a car while riding his bike.  The cowardly driver of the car left the scene and has not been identified.  Bill continues to be in the Intensive Care Unit with face and head trauma from the accident.  He is starting to communicate with the medical staff by moving his thumbs.  In the long road ahead during his recovery, at a minimum, Bill will need reconstructive surgery on his cheekbone and eye socket among others.     

 As he slowly improves, his family has been by his side spending days and nights at the hospital and hotel rooms as Bill is in and out of sedation.  He has three great young adult children who are taking care of his affairs and have been living at their home by themselves.  Bill’s sisters, girlfriend and friends of the family have also been spending relentless hours at the hospital.  This unfortunate event will definitely put a strain on the family finances to cover medical bills, missed work, travel, meals and supplies in the next year for Bill to recover.

 It is the hope and prayers of all Bill’s family and friends for him to recover and be the same great person he has always been.

 Bill’s daughter will be the beneficiary of the fund through the guidance of Bill’s sisters, friends and girlfriend. I am setting a goal of $75,000 to assist with medical bills and family expenses during these tragic times.  Thanks in advance for any support to this family!!  They are great people.
