Living expenses for Ana Fuentes

My name is Ana Fuentes, and many of you may have seen my story featured in the Netflix Original documentary The Bleeding Edge. I was implanted with Essure in 2011 and immediately had severe abdominal pain. I then experienced near-nonstop bleeding for three years and lost hair and teeth. I was in and out of the hospital much of the time. When I was no longer able to sustain a job due to my health, we battled homelessness for six years, and I had no choice but to put my children in church foster families, as you see in the film. I’m happy to share that I have since found a place to live thanks to a homeless assistance program and have been reunited with my daughters! But I still struggle with my health—I had surgery in March and was just in the hospital last week with a kidney infection. This has made it difficult to maintain a job, so I struggle to make ends meet. Many people have asked how they can help me meet my living expenses, so I created this page.
